On March the 7th, we travelled to Fota Wildlife park in County Cork. We left Portumna at 7:30. We arrived down in Fota near to 10 o clock. we went to the classrooms first. we were split into two groups for activities. The first game was one person got a picture of an animal in blocks and had to explain it to the person beside him. And he had to pass it on again. So it was like Chinese whispers. The next game was called sheepdog. You were blindfolded and a "Shepard" had to guide you without speaking or touching you. we all enjoyed these games. In the park we saw animals such as girraffes, lions, tigers and rhinos. It was interesting to see all these animals as i had never been to fota and its been a long time since i was at a zoo.after we left fota we went shopping in mahon point shopping centre. i bought a red hoodie. We returned home late that evening. I enjoyed the day.
