Barcelona
On Tuesday 24th of April, we gathered in the school at 1:00 am to travel to Barcelona. We were two and half hours on a bus to terminal 1 in Dublin Airport. We were nearly three hours on the flight to barca. I slept for 95% of it. When we first arrived in barca, I put on shorts and sun cream as the weather was nice. We hoped on a bus and we went to a science museum. It was cool seeing a whole range of science things such as a huge ice cube. We ate and next we went on short guided tour of the city. We saw amazing architecture such as the cathedral still being built, designed by Gauidi. Then we got some short free time. After we went to the cable carts. We got a breath-taking view of the city and the sea. On top of the hill was a castle. We then went to our hotel in Salou. We went through 5 different tolls. 5. I was the only one who didn’t sleep. Me and dan hynes disscussed footy at length. From Mo Salah, to Robert Lewandowski, to Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, to Jessie Lingard, to Phillipe Coutinho, to Liverpools extremely attractive style of football. When we arrived at the hotel we got changed and had dinner. Next was bowling. At bowling we watched the Liverpool game. Mo Salah is god. And that’s it. We went back to the hotel to bed. We woke early the next morning for breakfast. We were going to the gaudi museum that day. We learned about his life. After was portaventura. All the roller-coasters were class. But around three o clock the unspeakable happened. I died. Slowly and painfully, I died. I went to bed early. The lads, dan and kyle stayed with me in the hotel as the rest of the group went for a walk. But when they returned they all sympathised and sent me their blessing while absolutely slaggin the waste out of me. Day three we went and visited some old roman architecture. The difference between this historic site and some of Irelands was shocking. We were basically allowed walk into it and around it but in Ireland you can hardly look at knewgrange. We got more free time and next was the nou camp. Home of Barcelona FC. The stadium was breath- taking. We got to see all Messis ballen d'ors. Even though hes just a second-rate Ronaldo. We then went shopping before heading to the airport. I enjoyed the holiday overall even though a part of me died over in barca
